iSpeak Confidence Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 August 2026

These terms describe the current service and should be reviewed for the jurisdictions and stores where the product is commercially released.

Learning service

iSpeak Confidence provides self-study language activities, speaking tools, AI-assisted features and optional tutor lesson requests. AI feedback and IELTS practice estimates are educational aids and are not official examination results.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping account credentials private and for activity under your account. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, automate abusive requests or interfere with other users.

Tutor requests

A lesson request is a request for availability and is not confirmed until iSpeak Confidence confirms it. Prices shown in the app may be changed for future bookings before confirmation.

iSpeak Classroom, monitoring and recordings

Private tutor lessons may be delivered through iSpeak Classroom. Before entering, teachers and learners are shown a notice that lessons may be monitored live and recorded by authorized iSpeak Confidence administrators for safeguarding, service quality, dispute handling and teacher coaching. Admin observers are read-only unless intervention is necessary and may not appear as a participant tile. Recording is enabled only after the teacher and learner acknowledge the classroom notice. Classroom messages, shared lesson workspace content, attendance records and recordings may be retained for legitimate operational, safeguarding and quality purposes subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

Lesson reviews

Learners may submit a review after an attended, completed iSpeak Classroom lesson. Reviews must reflect the learner's genuine experience. iSpeak Confidence may hide reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, irrelevant, contain personal information or otherwise violate platform rules.

Student professional conduct

Learners must treat teachers professionally and respectfully. Students must not make sexual, romantic, threatening, discriminatory or harassing comments; request private contact, social-media or payment details; pressure a teacher to meet or communicate off-platform; or record, screenshot or redistribute a teacher or lesson without permission. Camera background, clothing, chat and behaviour must remain appropriate for a professional lesson. iSpeak Confidence may end a lesson, restrict classroom access or suspend an account for serious or repeated misconduct.

Teachers aged 15–17

iSpeak Confidence may consider teacher applicants aged 15–17 where this is appropriate and permitted. An applicant in this age group must confirm parent or legal-guardian approval before submitting an application. Approval by iSpeak Confidence remains discretionary and may include additional safeguarding or verification requirements. Applicants and administrators are responsible for complying with applicable local education, child-safeguarding, work and payment requirements.

Teacher applications

Applicants must provide accurate information and must have the right to submit any photo, video, qualification or other material included in an application. Submission does not guarantee approval, publication, students or a particular rate. iSpeak Confidence may request changes, reject an application or remove a teacher profile where platform requirements are not met.

Teacher conduct and learner privacy

Teachers must use learner information only for providing lessons through the service, keep learner information confidential, follow the teaching and booking rules provided by iSpeak Confidence, and must not misuse platform access or application materials. Separate teacher agreements may apply to payment, student-contact and teaching requirements.

AI and automated features

AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. Learners should not rely on the app for medical, legal, financial or other high-stakes advice.

Availability

Online AI, synchronization, email and tutoring functions depend on network access and configured third-party services. Features may be changed as the product develops.

Intellectual property and permitted use

iSpeak Confidence and its licensors retain all rights in the original software source code and object code, user-interface artwork and layouts, original curricula and lesson content, certificates, graphics, characters, databases, documentation, videos, audio, logos, trade dress and other original materials made available through the service. Third-party materials remain subject to their respective licences and ownership.

Your account gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use iSpeak Confidence for its intended learning or teaching purpose. Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, sublicense, distribute, scrape, systematically extract, mirror, frame, reverse engineer, decompile, bypass access controls, create an unauthorized derivative or competing copy from protected iSpeak Confidence materials, or remove copyright, attribution or rights-management notices.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of iSpeak Confidence intellectual property to a learner, teacher or other user. Ideas, teaching methods and general product concepts are not claimed beyond the protection available under applicable law. If you believe iSpeak Confidence material has been copied or misused, contact ispeakconfidence@gmail.com.

User content

You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit, such as profile information, lesson files or messages. You grant iSpeak Confidence a limited licence to host, process, display and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate and improve the service and to comply with law. You must have the rights needed to upload that content.
